THE CONCEPT: The Bag Stand Company^® Laundry Centers com­prise an exclusive Whole House Laundry System™ for ease in collecting and sorting laundry in the home. The smaller Bag Stands^® such as the Oval, Single and Over the Door are for smaller bedrooms. The Double Laundry Centers are for a larger bedroom or bathroom. The Triple Laundry Centers and Three Compartment Rolling Bag Stand^® are for the laundry room or garage where the washer and dryer may be located.

All of The Bag Stand Company^®Laundry Centers hold the laun­dry bags upright allowing them to expand to their full capacity. The laundry bags are removable for trips to the cleaners or laun­dry room. The specially designed clip locking mechanisms secure the bags to some styles of the Double and Triple Bag Stands^®. The weight of the clothes rests firmly on the floor, so the stands will not tilt regard-less of how full they may get.

The drawstring locking mechanism holds the laundry bag securely in place for the Oval, the Over the Door and the Single Bag Stands^®.

The law firm representing The Bag Stand Company, a California corporation, has notified Sandra Cashe of Louisiana that the name chosen for her company in Hammond infringes upon the Trademark Rights of The Bag Stand Company, Ontario, California.  Cashe has been asked to immediately cease and desist the use of The Bag Stand Company.

First use of the mark “The Bag Stand Company” was in 1986 and the company has owned the Registered Trademark since 1993.

Chicago – A trio of themes predominate in this year’s laundry care showings: one-piece pad and covers, cow prints and drying racks. For major laundry-care suppliers, these three movements are merely reinterpretations of the classic themes: fit, fashion and full-line supply.

Following is a look at what is being offered at the show.

Artwire is adding an SKU to its nine-product Out to Dry clothes dryer line. Products include eight epoxy-coated steel dryers, a telescopic towel bar and a four-strand clothes line. Dryers in the Travelers segment can hang over doors, bath tubs, decks, patio railings and on recreational vehicles.

The Bag Stand Co. Inc. went into the corral and brought out a passel of cow-printed products. Along with a soft shoe rack, soft sweater rack and soft underbed storage box, Bag Stand is offering a cow print laundry bag. The bag is made of color-fast cotton fabric. A drawstring locking mechanism keeps contents from shifting during transport. It retails for $8.99. …
